Where was your first date?

Our first date was at a small coffee shop on 16th & Pennsylvania called the Thirsty Scholar. We stayed for over three hours talking and getting to know each other and didn't even realize we had been there that long.

Tell us about the proposal? How did he pop the question?

We are both very private people, he knew I didn't want a big charade, I wanted something real. It was on Christmas Eve 2018, we had two family gatherings to attend that day so we woke up super early that morning and went to breakfast with my family then came home mid day to take a nap before the second family gathering that night. When I woke up from my nap there it was! He had placed the engagement ring on my finger while I was sleeping and asked as soon as I opened my eyes!

Tell us your favorite part of being engaged?

My favorite part of being engaged is getting to introduce him as my fiance! We have already built a home and are starting to build a life together and being engaged brings us one step closer in our journey.

What are you looking forward to most on your wedding day?

Honestly, I am looking forward to getting married! I am looking forward to standing up in front of our closest friends and family and vowing to continue to experience this journey of life together.

Where are you going on your honeymoon?

We are go to Montego Bay, Jamaica for some sun, fun, & beach relaxation!
