Featured Couple: Anna & Oliver

We are back with our Featured couple blog! It is always fun to learn about our couples. In this edition, we get to learn about Anna & Oliver’s love story.

How did you meet?
Bumble!! It really works, y'all!

Where was your first date?
Scotty's Bar in Carmel (RIP - we were so sad when it closed and we could no longer revisit the first date!)

Everyone loves a proposal story.  Tell us about the proposal.
Oliver's family  lives on a gorgeous farm in Atlanta, IN. Oliver and Anna spend so much time there on a regular basis, and the setting is perfect for a beautiful engagement. The day after Christmas 2018, they were getting ready to go to dinner with both their families when Oliver asked Anna if she wanted to have a glass of wine down at the small pavilion behind the house. Did Anna know what was coming? Absolutely she did. Oliver is terrible at keeping secrets and had been dropping so many hints that Anna was prepared with a fresh manicure and all. But what she wasn't ready for was the absolutely perfect touch he had prepared...enter their fur-child, Lily. Oliver led Anna down to the pavilion, turned on their song, and brought Lily out to show Anna she was sporting a brand new dog tag that read, "Will you marry me?" The tears started flowing and Anna said yes instantly!

What are you looking forward to most about the wedding?
Everyone we love being together all at once. We can't wait for our circles to come together and celebrate!

Where are you going on your honeymoon?
We are taking a Mediterranean cruise! We are taking some time off in between the wedding and the honeymoon so we can extend the experience a little longer, so we won't be going until October!

Any advice for other engaged couples?
Enjoy the little things and don't let stress overwhelm you. This should be a fun season of your life! Also...drink wine.
